Animals & My Body: Printable First Words Card Bundle for Toddlers
$0.00
Twenty-three first-word cards covering the animals in your child’s world and the names for their own body. Soft watercolour illustrations, warm earthy tones, simple words toddlers can say before they can read. Printable PDF bundle, ready to trim and keep in a small basket your child can reach on their own.
The early word-learning years feel fast and slow at the same time. Your little one points at something every day, waiting for you to name it. These cards are a small way to meet them there, with the words they are already asking for.
Two printable sets, twenty-three simple words, paired with soft watercolour illustrations and made for little hands.
What’s inside Two printable PDFs, delivered together as a digital download.
Animals — twelve animal cards across three A4 pages Dog, Cat, Chicken, Duck, Cow, Horse, Pig, Goat, Mouse, Butterfly, Ant, Bee.
My Body — eleven body part cards across three A4 pages Head, Eyes, Nose, Mouth, Hair, Teeth, Ears, Belly, Hands, Fingers, Feet.
Each card has a watercolour illustration and the English word in a warm italic serif. Dashed cut lines guide the trimming.
How I’d use them There’s no right way. Leave them on a small tray your child can reach. Tuck them into a basket by the bookshelf. Pull one out at a time during quiet play and say the word slowly. The learning happens in repetition, not performance.
Start with the animals your child already knows. Move to the body parts when they start pointing to their own eyes or belly. Let them choose.
Printing notes Print on sturdy card stock, 200 to 300 gsm matte works well. Cut along the dashed lines. Laminate if you want them to survive teething and snack hands. A4 size, two PDFs, six card pages plus two covers.
Delivery Digital download. Both PDFs arrive together straight after checkout. Print as many times as you like, for your own family use.
